All of a sudden, about 2 minutes ago, my computer just crashed and restarted itself.
I sent the error report and a window came up regarding the error. It was a Microsoft website and it said:

"You received this message because a device driver installed on your computer caused the Windows operating system to stop unexpectedly. This type of error is referred to as a "stop error." A stop error requires you to restart your computer."

I did install the latest Nvidia drivers, but haven't had any problems.
Do you guys think it was the Nvidia drivers?

Find a driver checker program. There are millions. Check all your hardware and forceware. It may not all be updated and one may be clashing with the other.

The other explanation is that your RAM just got fucked. I would run a memtestx86 ( bootable ISO ) for about 8 hours and see if you have any RAM problems.

Alright thanks. I'm running a virus scan just incase it was a virus problem, but I'll be sure to check my drivers and RAM.

Computer overload. You were maybe pushing it too hard?

What are your specs?

edit - were you, by any chance, using a hack system for CSS? It usually can cause rebooting problems.

It's probably the nvidia drivers.  They fucked up so much shit when I installed them.  Honestly, I had to reinstall Norton, my registry is now corrupted..

No i dont hack i only play CS:S cassually but not since BF2 stats crashed. anyway my specs on that comp are Core 2 duo 2.13 GHz, 2 GB ram, nVidia 7600 256 MB card (i think i know its 7 series), 500 GB HDD 7200 RPM HDD (2x 250 GB HDD's). Only programs i was running was CS:S, xfire and maybe ventrillo but i dont think i was. And norton was running but it always is.

Idk what happened, the comp im on right now is pent D, and 1 GB ram and i can run BF2,CS:S,ventrillo and xfire at the same time and it wont crash (which i do occasionally).

Okay. It is probably, or most definately norton.

Bin it, get a free AV or "aquire" a decent AV ( Bit Defender, NOD32 ).

You have to make sure that all of Nortons components are completely removed. So go looking on the internet for a full un-install guide ( it will involve you removing reg. keys with regedit )

If it isn't that then it is your RAM. Check your RAM settings in the BIOS and tell me what RAM you have.
