Yes stats are important.... because if we had them we wouldn't have to put up with stupid stat thread after stupid stat thread!
I kinda ope they fix it, and are able to include the stats that haven't been updating...
I just wan't to see the stats t life guys suddenly update with 300 tk's, and 600 deaths from trying to paddel some one.

You know, if someone post one more thing about the stats, I'm afraid I'm going to get myself temp banned.
This has got to be like the 40th thread about this. When will people learn to search? Not sure why a mod has not yelled at the tards who keep making these threads over and over again.

F**kin right its just a game, i play for fun and for points. I payed for that right. If the stat system went down, i would stop playing without a doubt.
I live a normal life, have an 8 to 5 job, a girlfriend of 4 years, play baseball 3 times a week, and on my down time.... I play BF2... FOR POINTS and FUN! If i wanted a mindless shooter for nothing i'll play Counter Strike.
BF2 is refined for its organization and records.
Minus the problems, overall its a great game. I laugh at anyone above the rank of 2nd Lt. who says they don't care.
Anyone that has more that 500 hours logged either plays for points or you are addicted to the the game 'just for fun'.
And guess what, both cases make the game more than just a game.
Both cases show a form of addiction either to points and or the fun of it.
Kudos to all who don't play the game anymore for whatever the reason but still remain active members of BF2s.com
I embrace my addiction to BF2 for both fun and points, but i do it in a balance with job, family, girlfriend & friends.
P.S. STATS = LIFE in BF2 not in real life.
No. I have the weapons I want and the game is still fun. Actually I’d say it’s more fun without stats. Just like the good ol’ days of BF1942. It did annoy me slightly that I didn’t get credit for my helicopter medal, but it’s not enough to make me stop playing.
My stats are extremely important to me
I was just getting married with my stats but suddenly she (my stats) didn't love me anymore
I want her back...
I want her back...
I don't care any longer... Now I mostly play for fun and I was pretty pleased that stats weren't updating. You would be surprised how people changes their gaming style when they know there will be no stats after. Its a huge fun and rolling

Everyone needs to realize that if stats are not important to them, they are important to the game. The reason BF2 has so many players and appeal is because of the stats system. For myself perseonally, it's really something to see all the points and kills I've made to tally up, and I'm sure that it is the same for many others. Realize that without a persistant stats system, the population is going to go down quite a bit. Stats are what make BF2 the game that it is, and one of the many reasons that it's so great. If you take away the stats system, you take away a big part of BF2.
But to me? Yes, they are important. I'm sure I will keep playing if they dissapear, but probably not as much.

They are important only as far as the global points go. I am barely a staff sergeant and as of now, I can't increase my rank.
Tell me o lonely one who has only his hand about whats wrong with having a girlfriend of 4 years or any amount of time. i'm not 12yrs old, i'm like a lot of people who play the game a mature adult who has a REAL life outside of video games.Ultimatrox wrote:
