Regular chinese food is what i'm talking about (like in a traditional chinese restaurant), not takeout or fast food. Real chinese food is quite amazing, and extremely different than take out. Everyone should try it if they get a chance. Soup dumplings are awesome. They are dumplings that you'd get anywhere else, but they actually have soup on the inside of them, along with the other stuff.Hurricane wrote:
I've never been to Chinese fast food. I'd rather eat McDonalds. God knows how much MSG and shit they use to keep the... "meat" flavorful.heggs wrote:
Poseidon, Hurricane, and Cowami have all the bases covered. Rice to Riches is surely amazing, best rice pudding i've ever had. The chopper ride should be pretty crazy, I've only seen the city from the ground.
Cowami: Yes. And don't worry, "intestine" tastes good.
Fish stomach soup actually isn't that bad, just have to get used to the consistency. Just be warned, a real chinese food restaurant has completely different food than a takeout place; it's like night and day.
You'll have a great time, and if you run out of things to do, you should just take a random walk around, there is more than enough stores to go into and things to see just by walking.
And yeah, walking = how to find interesting stores, either that or ask the locals. And also, green means stop and red means go (when walking). I kid you not, it's the pedestrians that rule the streets.
