I toss a mine under one of our tanks instead of repairing it...but that was in bf42. BF2 I've started as a veteran after many, many rounds in bf1942, Veitnam and Forgotten Hope and after lots of homework - reading forums and announcements, watching gameplay movies and screenshots.

Star wars.... wookies = too big for cockpits. You need the millenium falcon to be effective.

Haha I did that too. The ONE time I want to get a ribbon everyone hops in the chopper, other times I'm looking for people to pick up and NO one wants to get in.Snake wrote:

- I also flew the Z8 on Wake up really, really high with 5 people in it and bailed out so I could get my airborne ribbon. Funny thing was, the thing fell back to earth and killed the lot of them
Other than that my first day playing bf2 I tried to get inside the UAV trailer. I was like what is this thing for? lol
When I was a noob
- I would transport the troops to some random place
- I would spay bullets and never killing him
- I was getting killed a lot
- I would kill myself 15 times to get the purple heart medal

I totally worshipped someone who scored a gold medal, I stalked that person,, becoming his shadow..I did learn the game like this tho.. But I never been a real n00b..You see mid-ranked players who still are utter noobs..
Dude, you need to get that out and leave it in the past. I think you are a little better player now. :-D-=]NS[=-Eagle wrote:

You posted the evidence yourself, if you spoil the game of somebody else, to have fun yourself, you fail.pyscofrawg wrote:

Think there was more to the awards/ribbons/ranks than just cut and try requirements that you had to meet. IAR never occured to me, and I wondered why it took so long to get a badge. I would never play the same kit for an entire round, which is not good for getting badges. I picked up the kit of the enemy I just killed if it was better, or spawn as what was need at the time, or changed just because I was bored of a particular kit.
i used to try to cap the uncaps not newing i could.
i used to stand right next to the flags watching them come down and then get killed from behind
Used to think you had to be RIGHT beside the flag and hold down G to cap it.
I remember distinctly one situation on Mashtuur. I was at on a hill very near the USMC gas station, watching an MEC specops soldier demolish our arty. Now, instead of sneaking up on him, emptying my Jackhammer in his face, and repairing the arty, I went prone, zoomed in, and fired aimed (lol) shots - with said Mk3A1 - at him. This was at a range of, oh, 100-200m.

I knew I was to kill those w/ red as their names, but when I saw green for the first time ever, I killed them instantly, not sure who they were. Noob was thrown around quick after the punishment.
I caught myself jumping a lot lols...I try not to be a bunny hopper now. When I play counterstrike I bunny hop, but on the field I try not to.

When I was a noob I used to play Battlefield 2.
I would always use the sights instead of the crosshair.
Guess how many times that got me killed.
