I really dont know but i would guess he was scared about the pot charges. I mean they were a day after he shot the cops. Also saturday was the funeral for denzinger. It was wierd to watch the funeral proccesion to go to my school (funeral was held at school).

This happened right were i live. Worse the kid who killed the two cops was in one of my classes. As for the rundown, the kid was a gun freak, a pot head, and above all stupid. Our school did, and still does, random drug searches as drugs are a big problem  there. He was caught with weed April 20th of this year (yes 420). Weed causes 0 problems in todays society, except for the fact that its illegal.  But theres no reason that it should be illegal, because it does NOT cause problems like what happened.

I arrested a male individual for theft from vehicles. I interviewed the subject and reviewed his criminal history before interviewing him.  I noticed a few items of interest. Convictions for Stealing and Possession of Drug paraphernalia and criminal possession of dangerous drugs.  One question I asked this male individual was why he was stealing from vehicles and selling the car stereos.  His reason? So he could buy dope from his dealer.


Yup. Zero Problems in today's society.  What I think you meant was the drug THC doesn't cause many problems when you've got THC flowing through your veins. This is true, in fact I'd rather deal with a stoner than a drunk any day.

People steal shit for booze money, food, clothes, cars(well, usually just steal the car) etc. 

It would be just the same if it was legal.  If he wanted weed that was legal and in a shop, he would be stealing shit to get it from a shop.  The war on drugs is failing pretty poorly, and the drain on society for the imprisonment of marijuana related charges is enormous.  Where they have lax drug laws (Holland)  The rates of abuse are much lower, teen use is lower, and their crime rate is lower.
