First things first, this is NOT a BF2-related "There is a problem with your connection"-thread!
The thing is, that one day I suddently couldn't connect to the internet with my gaming computer, nor the computer at my bed. It's very frustrating, because when I go into command prompt and type "ping outside-of-network-IP", it works just fine, all packets returned. Even far-away servers in America. But if I start IE or Firefox, I can't access any pages. It just sais "Waiting for www.google.com" for example. So, if I can't connect to the internet, how can I write this topic? Now comes the REALLY strange part! I tried putting a HDD from another computer (Wich was unable to connect) in my gaming computer, and I got access to the internet! But if I boot from the gaming computer's HDD, I can't connect. What can be the problem? I've tried switching ports on the router, resetting the router to factory defaults, I've checked all firewalls and everything!
My ISP is a small Ålandish one called "Ålcom"... Don't know if that'll give out so much
Please help, It's frustrating not beeing able to play BF2, access MSN, XFire etc...

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
