Okay so im currently shoping for a new rig and well...i dont know shit about what a good lvd monitor is...So if you guys could help me a little on that...i would preffer to have a 19" and around 150$ if possible...dont feel like paying as much as my 2 video card for a screen.

look for something with a low response time like 2ms or 5ms.

Yeah, anything below 5ms is fine, 2ms is overkill but a nice bragging point 5ms is the point where you stop seeing any blur at all. You want a good contrast ratio, anything below 1000:1 will look a bit shit these days.

They're bigger, uglier, and if I'm not mistaken use up a lot more energy. The good LCDs these days are so good that they are either as good or better than top-end CRTs.
