So my new PC is finally being fucking shipped from IBUYPOWER.com and I'm going to have an extra 14" Flatscreen LCD monitor.  What I want to know is, do I need something special in order to have my 20" widescreen and 14" screen hooked up to my PC?

PC Specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo E 6600 2.4 GHz
Corsair 2048 MB Ram
eVGA 680i Motherboard
Viewsonic 20" Widescreen
NVidia 8800GTS 320 MB
Thermaltake 600 W PSU

Does it come with that or do I need to buy something?

Looks like the NVidia 8800GTS 320 MB is capable of dual monitors.

Yep. Its just like plug and play. It's that simple. Your computer should recognize it I think. But all u need to do though is right click on desktop and go to settings, open up the Settings tab and click the second monitor and click extend my windows to this monitor button.

He might have to install the NVidia software that comes with the card and use that because the Windows one sometimes blows.

Damn fucking right it is.

It took them 10 days just to gather the fucking compnents to build it, but they did build it in 2 hours.  Maybe that's because I called them and screamed at the guy for 10 minutes before he gave me a free upgrade...

Thanks for the replies so far guys.

So does that mean that I can do the cool "look!  I can switch my mouse from this screen to this screen!" thing?

Maybe. I got it on my computer and it works great for Xfire and BF2 at the same time. I hook up my flat panel to my laptop and it recognizes it immediately. The basic Microsoft Windows Settings is fine. I guess with Nvidia drivers you can adjust the screen using the program instead of monitor buttons and shit. Also resolutions and...well probably a lot more stuff.

lol ya, I had my fun like that while it lasted. Actually, when I had the nvidia drivers on my comp, you can click the title bar on a window and kind of "Throw" it across with your mouse. It automatically floated over to the other monitor. It was pretty cool....But now I got a ATI Card and they have SHIT drivers for Dual Monitor
