I have a big piece of crap copmuter. Compaq. Yes i know wtf! But my question to you tech guys is if I was to buy a video card (or graphics card if its the same thing) for my computer do I just basically plug in and play? Or do I need other things? Also I would like to add more ram. I bought 2 sticks of ram already along time ago but is there anyway else I can add ram? I just need help guys. I really want to upgrade my computer.
Well adding a new, high powered video card into a really old computer (I'm assuming it's old, since its a Compaq) isn't always the best.
Give us the specs you have now and we can figure something out.

It sounds very similar to what i used to have but i brought a budget system to run BF2 on, It probably only has PCI graphics, You'll never find a good PCI video card, PCIe is the go
isnt that an oboard card?trex1210 wrote:
