I'm not building it but some one on a different website has a budget of 2500$ to spend to make a Good computer designed for 3d modeling, art, special effects, stuff like that, not really gaming in mind. So TECH can you give me a good set-up to recommend him/her? Please only the experienced/knowledgeable post Danke.

$2,500? i'd say a powerful processor (duo maybe quad)/gfx card (8800GTX?) + plenty of RAM + big HD in RAID 1?

Also what about a good display. It's no use having a computer that can do all this art stuff if the colour you see when working on it is messed up.

Theres no need for a 8800ultra or a quad core system to do 3d modeling. An 8800gts 320mb with a dual core system and 2gigs of ram should be plenty with 2 250gig hd

Core X Duo price drop = Quad core is cheap!
8800 ultra = win for modelling
RAM = win
.. and you'll want a fast hard drive, at least RAID1 for back up..

Why not just a GTX? He'd get on fine with that, and save some money. $2500 is not *that* much money.
