I remember back when Diablo 2 had the first ladder reset, a team of 64 russian players power-leveled a lvl 99 in like 5 days. They'd have teams clear through to diablo, and the power leveled character would just jump from game to game to get the final blow exp.
Not that I'm advocating stats-padding, but the min-maxer in me is curious. What would be the most effective way to grind points in a ranked server?
Naturally, the power-leveling account would be the commander every game for the x2 win bonus, but what else?
In theory, with a team of 64 players, they could just abduct some empty ranked server and have the power-leveler grenade spam from next to a supply crate. In a 63 vs 1 scenario, assuming no medics, it'd be 126 points every 15 seconds, but probably more with the other team reviving. This would probably get noticed pretty quickly and the account banned, though.
Chain-reviving with a team of guys dedicated to dying would be 2 points every 2 seconds or so.
How many points would holding an ammo bag next to 5 or more other players spamming grenades generate?
I don't think I've ever seen karkland scores over 250, so I'm sure that there's a more efficient, less legitimate way to whore stats.
