Hey been playing the Sniper kit for yonks, and recently heard some guy talking about 'Sniper Settings' in game and was wondering if anyone can tell me what they are so Im not at a disadvantage when sniping.
Search is your friend, he has all the answers

Right-e-o cheers.
and view distance.
Why 1024x768? Im using 1280x1024..David.Podedworny wrote:

Draw distance is increased by lowering res 800x600 is too small for me 1024x768 is fine.Madiz wrote:

really? 1024 better than 1280?
Resolution as high as it will go, all settings on high with lighting on low.
NO!fabiator14 wrote:

1280 x 1024 is best.
Max view distance.
Geometry high
Shadows off
Lighting high
Thats what settings i use and ive made 600m+ kills.
Ok, so I will change my settngs if necessary and apply yours.Dont_be_sS.V2 wrote:

i thought you were talking about usersettings...
meh, everyone else has really covered it, but IMO the lower lighting is better, no shadows to hide in
edit: i forgot, the last one beneath anti aliasing, texture filtering i think, that one's better because it causes textures in the distance to stick out a little bit more, so if you can put it on high do so

But muzzle flashes make it so much easier to spot someone!Blehm98 wrote:

you get muzzle flashes regardless...
Wrong. Texture isnt a big issue when it comes to distances. Trust me i have tested them all.Blehm98 wrote:

Looks like we got the answer. I would highly recommend listening to Dont_be_sS.V2 if you haven't figured that out already.
