SCAR stands for Special-operations Combat Assault Rifle. The "L" is the LIGHT variant as it shoots 5.56 mm rounds (like the M4). The "H" is the HEAVY variant as it shoots 7.62 mm rounds (like the PKM).
They both kinda suck, M16 all the way!
