Actually, 3-400 points on Karkand isn't uncommon, it IS however, also not common enough that you see it with most players.
Also, the commander x2 points are ONLY the command points that are doubled, and you can have a BILLION command poits, and not rank up if you dont have any "regular" points.
However, there is no doubt that if you're looking to do orgnized padding, I'd assume that the following would net you LOADS of points (albeit, it's a theoretical impossiblity without having EVERYONE on the server in on the action:

* Get on a map with a bomber plane, use it, release all bombs, and load up ONE bomb. Release it and take on a full load. this will turn your bomber into a single bomb bomber, dropping only one bomb at each release instead of them all (presumably you COULD use the MG, but I would recommend it), then have the ENTIRE team (except for 1 medic) spawn as medics and stand in one spot. Bomb the shit out of them, have the 1 surviving medic revive a couple who reives the rest, and 10 sec later repeat. Only downside is that you need to rearm once in a while, but it IS rather quick.

* Get in a tank, and have the entire team except one medic spawn as medics and stand in a line. MG them or simply drive them over, have the medic revive a few who revives the rest, 10 sec later repeat.

Essentially, any kind of spawnraping will be the fastest way to get points, which is why people DO spawnrape. However, if noone is fighting back, it's even more efficient

As I think, anything over 550 is stat padding. Or you are about the top player to ever play bf2.
So what am I ?

This score is a really long round on a near empty server.
It becomes a bit boring after 2 hours.

EA should add a 'longest round played' to the stats, then it would be obvious who was padding.

ok, so u want to know the only way to pad in a full server without getting caught?

here it is:

you have one guy stand out of bounds so he gets the warning message and eventually dies.
You then revive him and if he is revived out of bounds, he will start instantly losing health twice as fast.
This will keep going forever until your defib runs out, then u have him spawn on u again

the reason why you can't get caught for this is because if somebody took a screen shot of you, it would just be a screen of someone reviving someone else.

doing this, you can easily get over 250-300 points in a 64 full server

You only get the x2 commander bonus for commanding points.
While being commander, only commanding points count.

The best way would be to have a 64 player team on a ranked server without auto-balance and on a map where the tickets start balanced (or where the respective team caps a flag to balance them).

Team A has 1 commander (the one that gets tons of points), who only drops supply crates for 1 other guy that continuously throws grenades.
Team B has 9 squad leaders with 48 medics allocated to their squads and 5 lone-wolf medics.

The squad leaders hide near a flag, the medics spawn on them (lone wolfs spawn at the flag) and run into the middle, where they get nade-spammed by team A's soldier.
The medics continuously revive each other. Dying & respawning should be avoided to keep the tickets balanced.
Team B of course does not attack Team A.

The commander will get 1 command point for each kill his only soldier gets.
You can theoretically continue infinitely if the tickets are balanced, but if you terminate the procedure by not reviving and reducing the tickets to zero, the commander will additionally get the x2 bonus too.

My best score was on SF. Few guys on the map and I was commander. We won the game : 408 points.

And what was your SPM for the round ? If it's about getting points FASTEST as the poster asked, and you HAVE the resources available (Ie private ranked 64 slot server and 63 trusted friends who wont tell on you), what would be the ABSOLUTELY fastest way to get points ???
400 points in 2-3 hours is like.. NOTHING. 2-2.5 SPM at best. A good Karkand whore can get that in 3-4 games (totalling about ½ hour) for a grand total of 6-15 SPM.

So come up with a better plan.

Kill yourself. You can get massive points in hell statzor paddling.

Well in theory, if holding an ammo bag next to 5 players spamming nades got you a resupply point every... say, 4, seconds, an hour length round could easily net you 1000 points, not counting the x2 commander bonus. No time wasted reloading, switching weapons, or actually finding enemy troops to kill.

Assuming that held ammo bags don't deplete. I never noticed before whether they do or not.
You don't get teamwork or combat points counted when you are the commander though (win or loss). That's why fighting commanders are stupid, they just take away their teammates points, which results in thier own points.

You only get, I think 10 or so ammo points from a guy before you stop getting them.  After that you still resupply them, but you don't get any more points for it.

One of the easiest ways is just turning Hummer upside-down, while 5-6 engineers are repairing it, using other vehicles. Repair points are going as usual, but it's getting damaged fast enough, so you don't need to find someone to kill or something to do

Sgt Gene u have right. Play 64 size map and  6 players / holp that no1 will not join) I saw a guy who had 560 points in long round. He had 140 kills and 30 deaths and i checked them they didnt stat pad. Its quite easy...
