How many people agree with this?

Surely in todays society, with the morality of life and peoples everyday actions always questioned then, no matter what end can justify a destructive and murderous means that is against all international laws.

Not always. What if the United States were to bomb Iran with M.O.A.Bs right now, and say it was to prevent a nuclear war? Yes, Iran has shown nuclear capabilities and we have hostile feelings toward each other but are there not other options? What about blakc options or disarmerment?

dropping the atomic bomb on Japan to end the war, was that justified and as Japan surrendered it certainly saved hundreds of thousands of lives. Same thing goes for Dresden, was killing all those people justified as it dropped the German peoples morale. It really depends on the time scale doesn't it, some people said removing Saddam from Iraq would bring peace, in a longer time scale maybe it will, then invading them could be classed as Justified, no matter how many people died in the process
