What do you do for data backup

I'm gonna do this (3rd attempt at getting Vista to work right) -but am just not sure on which route to take. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I have a raid 1 internal storage array, an external 500GB disk, burn stuff to DVD and will sometimes send stuff over the network to another PC. What I wanna back up really decides which method I take.

i have a western digital 200GB external hard drive that i put all of my files onto. its awesome, no hassle at all to hook up

Burn to DL DVD, DVD-R, or CD-R. If its just small data files you can use xdrive.com

Important files stored on partition External HDD.
This partition is then backed up to an Acronis Secure Zone (OS can't touch it) on the External HDD.
This partition is also backed up to a parition on the internal HDD.

i update backup dvds every so often just in case something unexpected happens, but if im planning a wipe and need to back up files i use an external hd. probably the best route imo.

I have a 150GB partition on my 200GB HDD, with Win getting installed on the 50GB partition (if that makes any sense).
I also burn data to re-writable DVDs about once a month.

I don't. If I have important data, I will also put it on my media hard drive and / or iPod. Other than that, that's it.
