The friendly Walt Disney cartoon character has finally met his demise....surprisingly at the hand of an Israeli. At least, that's the way that Hamas television has portrayed it. Many of you already know of the way that Hamas was using the image of Mickey mouse to inspire the next generation of terrorists in their Al Aqsa TV programs. Apparently, the character who looked like Mickey, named "Farfour" on the show, was beaten to death by an Israeli who was trying to buy his land.

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip -- A Mickey Mouse lookalike who preached Islamic domination on a Hamas-affiliated children's television program was beaten to death in the show's final episode Friday.
In the final skit, "Farfour" was killed by an actor posing as an Israeli official trying to buy Farfour's land. At one point, the mouse called the Israeli a "terrorist."
"Farfour was martyred while defending his land," said Sara, the teen presenter. He was killed "by the killers of children," she added.
The weekly show, featuring a giant black-and-white rodent with a high-pitched voice, had attracted worldwide attention because the character urged Palestinian children to fight Israel. It was broadcast on Hamas-affiliated Al Aqsa TV.
Station officials said Friday that Farfour was taken off the air to make room for new programs. Station manager Mohammed Bilal said he did not know what would be shown instead.
Israeli officials have denounced the program, "Tomorrow's Pioneers," as incendiary and outrageous. The program was also opposed by the state-run Palestinian Broadcasting Corp., which is controlled by Fatah, Hamas' rival.
Its terrible that the children subjected to such programs are never given the chance to live a life of anything but violence and hatred at such a young age. The Palestinians that broadcast such filth are only perpetuating the violence in the middle east by raising their children in a manner that teaches them to distrust the Israeli's they come into contact with. Now, I don't want to hear any flaming; I know that Israel isn't blameless in the ways that they have probably taught their own children to hate the Palestinians. This just so happens to the be purest cut example of the indoctrination of hate between the two sides (since we've yet to see an Israeli children's show that does the same thing). Is there any way to stop the animosity of both sides toward one another within a specific generation? Could education in the minds of today's Palestinian and Israeli children hold the key to future peace?
