As I was forwarding the port for utorrent, I was wondering if it would make any difference at all if I forwarded the port BF2 uses. Would it decrease my ping? Or would it do nothing at all. I fail at teh internatz, so I have no clue what it would do

What port forwarding does is when a packet of information comes in to your router, it has to know where to go. So you create a rule that says every packet with ____ port goes to ______ computer, thereby allowing you to host games. If all you need to do is connect to other servers, you only must unblock ports for outgoing packets.
