Hey guys, I downloaded and installed DVD Decryptor so that I can put my DVDs I own onto my hard drive. It seems to work great and all, but the only problem I have is that it splits the main movie file into at least three files, each one containing 1,048,404KB of data on it. Is there a way that I can make it so the movie is all on one file? If there is, please tell me. Karma for good answers

I think you can use Winavi to convert all three into one .vob file. I think thats what i was using.. I used bit torrent to get winavi.... or you could pay for it....
me? download illegally???????? thats crazy talk
I use DVD Shrink. It compresses DVDs so that they'll fit onto a typical 4.5 GB DVD. You can pick what titles you want to go on the DVD (the main movie, any special features) as well as any subtitles or different audio tracks that go on. The less you add on, the less the main movie is compressed. But even though it's compressed it still looks great. And if you don't have a DVD burner or don't want to burn a bunch of DVDs, you can just tell it to put the files on your computer in a folder. Now this doesn't rip it into a single .wmv, .mpg, or .avi file, it puts it into the regular DVD files so that you can burn it to a DVD later. I'd suggest just making individual folders for the movies and then you just have to click one of the files and it'll play your movie.
what do you mean by creating individual folders? because playing the entire movie on just one file is exactly what i want to do. Oh and BTW Kommando, I am converting a movie right now, and it seems like this will work well.mtb0minime wrote:

I mean just make a folder called "Movie X" and then rip the files onto that. But if you want just one movie file, then DVD shrink won't help ya
