Cause and effect: You kill the majority of the world. A god is only powerful if he has a strong following, otherwise there would not be a god. You would cease to exist. Also, Asia is a massive continent, you would be removing a large chunk of natural resources, making survival harder for the rest of the world.

You destroy a Polar Ice cap, which would have severe ecological consequences, ie water temperature/level, over-salination, and all that good stuff. However, life does not directly rely on Antartica, unless you are a penguin. Most life could adapt to live without it.

I'd go for Africa.... It provides little or no resources to the rest of the world, has very few unique things (apart from a couple of species of animals, and is presumably the birthplace of mankind), the amount of jungle and plants on the continent is NOTHING compared how much seaweed I could put there instead of the continent, so plant life/O2 cycle wouldn't suffer. In short I pretty much doubt it will be missed (except for by the people living there). And depending on how far down I'd evaporate the continent, we'd get at least a 15 feet drop in the waterlevel, so we have nice long beaches again like in my childhood. And we'd get a shorter shipping lane from Europe to Asia without having to rely on the Suez and the gulf. The ocean currents will have a shorter route from the indian ocean to the pacific. And as an added bonus, in about 3-400 million years when the continental drift have created a "pangea ultima", we'll have a nice lake in the middle !

+1 to Africa Get rid of it and N.O. wouldn't be under sea level any more!
