I don't think there's any way to make bots always sprint, and the problem with hitting running players lies in the bad multiplayer coding.

Just practise on multiplayer till you're better at hitting running people

try on a harder difficulty.

or try practising on walking then just lead a little more to hit running targets...

I don't think you can.

In all honesty, leading targets has to be done on actual human players because with #1 - with SinglePlayer, you have virtually no lag so it's too easy #2 - Bots are easy to predict, humans make a bunch of sporadic movements.

I'm sure if you continue to try in multiplayer servers, you'll get better.

go into a server running kark, try and get on the usmc team, spawn at the top-right most uncap, be a sniper of course, go on top of the hill, and snipe from there. theres a lot of people who are dumb and just run across the map right where you could snipe them... its how i got good at sniping out running targets. and remember, dont lead by too much.

i remember the first time i played as a sniper on bf2. i had just played a game of halo on pc (which im always a sniper on)... i was so used to leading by a ridiculously unrealistic amount, that i got pissed off. then my friend slapped me on the head and called me an idiot.

Really how about the same guys spwaning on the arty island in Wake... over and over again ! Only to be killed by the J10 over and over again. Same can be said for the f35b raping the j10 spwan point.

I sometimes wonder are these bots or what !

I have the same problem. I just hold down the button longer until they die.

you have to aim a little behind running people.... GG dice

aim towards the back of the head, and you'll get them nearly every time with every weapon.  There is modest hitbox lag, but it should overlap with the model near the back, so aim there and you'll put them down way faster

never lead unless you have to react to them crossing crosshairs, in which case go ahead and have them walk through your bullet spray, 99% of nubs will do it, and if you're lucky you won't get bad hitreg and just puff on him...

actually, the bots do run when they want a vehicle.i've had many bad experiences where they run to the chopper, take off alone, and just fly the heli aimlessly around the map.quite annoying actually.

Sounds like what 90% of newbs do in multiplayer.

yeah, but at least in MP they die so you get the chopper back.in SP the bots rarely shoot them down so they can be up there a long time.

That's an excellent question. Singleplayer is underrated as a place to practice, probably because it isn't as good as it should be. If you can't get the bots to run, you could try going for headshots. Practice until you can take down a full-health bot with a single burst from the M16 and you will be effective in real games. Not that I can do it...
