They just don't get it.
People don't oppose Gitmo because of the conditions, they oppose it because of the policies. Holding people with no charge, not giving legal representation, no trials, sleep-deprivation methods and other forms of torture, convicting people using coerce evidence/confessions.
No-one is saying the conditions are terrible, they're saying the whole damn process is.
