I voted for Royal Marines. RM Condor, home of 45 Commando is in my town. Also I have been told thet royal marines are better trained etc than the army. I couldn't vote for any of the US forces because I dont know much about them.
Finally, a man with his priorities in order.Bertster7 wrote:
Royal Marines Commando, I think.
Although serving for the US would be tempting, 'cos they actually get all their equipment and whilst (from what I've heard from friends in the army) the British army cooks tend to be better, the American cooks get provided with better stuff to cook.
Food is important.
(join the US Air Force! Their food is GREAT!)
some might consider the little things more important.Bertster7 wrote:

British forces are generally stand-up soldiers (from my limited experience around them) - but they have 'shit for kit', so to speak.
The men are great, the equipment they get is lacking. (As compared to the US standard.. which can be a little short sometimes too).
It's when it comes to the little things, boots, body armour etc. that the British army fails somewhat.

They clearly are very important. Whether they're more important or not is debatable.GunSlinger OIF II wrote:

It depends if your talking about to troops on the ground and morale, or for actually winning the battles.
You wouldn't want the enemy having air superiority and dropping bombs on you, for example.
My boyhood dream was always to be an "army man" so I'll go with that. I had then specified my preference further with a wish to get into an airborne division and from there, the Rangers.
Totally off topic.... gunslinger, I just tried to PM you, and it failed because your mailbox is full. Delete some spam, man!GunSlinger OIF II wrote:

We live in fame or we die in flames, HEY, nothing'll stop the U.S. Airforce!!
I would train with the Royal Marines and beg one of the Americans to give me his equipment.
the most powerful Air Force in the world...and they got some hot chicks too.Cougar wrote:

That's probably why.
I'd go US Navy but the closest thing provided is the USMC a division of the Navy
Fox Comapny (the Black Hearts) 2nd plt. , 2nd Battalion 5th Marine Regiment, 1rst Marine Division, is who I'd serve with.
