Hi guyz, I'running Orthos right now to stress test my CPU, no overclocking, just out of interest, wanted to see how much the CPU temperatures rise by. So I run SpeedFan 4.32 then go to charts to start recording my temps, I have a list of temps I can record, but however, I;m not sure which is the CPU and CPU Core temp options.

The options avaiable are:

Temp1
Temp2
Temp3
Temp
TEmp
Local Temp
Remote Temp
HD0
HD1
HD2
HD3
Temp1
Core

So far, it seems like Temp1 is the CPu and Core is the CPU Core or vice versa, but how do I know for sure?

BTW, whats that priority thing on Orthos????

Watch all the temps, run the test, see which one jumps the most... and... you have the CPU temp

There is a difference between CPU temp and CPU core temp?

I;m not very sure, but in quad core or dual core processors, I've heard there defiantely is, all 4 cores have seperate temperature levels than the whole CPU level. I;m kinda confused about it too.

CPU Core is the one you should be looking at.

You don't really need to do the chart, just leave it for an hour, come back to it and see what the temp is.
