Yes did try...the Ipod refuses to even boot...As i stated the Ipod battery are extremly low...and my computer refuse to acknoledge that i have an ipod at the end of the connector...wont even reload/recharge it.

@murdock22: Might do that...but i have a 1 year warranty at the place i bought it...might just go there and exchange it...prolly will be faster...or they will take it and ship it to Appple for me.

@Macgiure: I hope your messing around when talking about the USB connector...because if you dont have it...you cant even load music into teh Ipod

If the battery is very very low it could be a while before your computer detects your IPod or the recharg simbol appears. Leave it connected to your computer for a couple of hours, and the computer on too of course.

yeh...it needs to have abit of battery charge on it for the computer to detect it...

If you plug it in does it show a charging symbol? if so just leave it for abit and it will detect it when its gained enough charge.

Screw iPod. Get an iRiver.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

I think if you bought a real MP3 player and not a fashion accessory you might find yourself having less problems.

That's what i call a stupid answer who does not help at all.

@ghettoperson: Ipod even tho you might not like it, or dont want to acknoledge it IS a very good mp3 player...yet it is expensive but in the long term i feel like its worth it...I dont force you to like it, but IT is a good mp3 player Imo.

@Alone+EasyTarget: Humm could be the problem...things is that its been connected for more than 3 hours right now...still no sign of life from it nor sign of detection.

Ill go and try my luck to get support from the Apple website...if it does not work ill just bring it back where i bought it to get a new one.

if you think you can help me with this issue please go ahead and post your way...Any answer i consider helpful will be rewarded of course with Instant Happy Point!
