Ok, in my PC I have two hard drives, one with XP, one with Vista.

A few weeks ago, the Vista one stopped loading. I wasn't too bothered, I only had a few things on there, so I started using my XP one. Now though, i want my Vista one back (as of Halo 2), but I can't get it working!

Whenever I load it up, it does that little bar with the green loading bars, then goes black for a few minutes, then I get these:

It only lasts for a few seconds, then it restarts.

What's the problem here?

It could be your Vista or it could be your hard drive. Try fixing the former first, by reinstalling Vista. If you still have problems, or if its a hard drive problem and you can't install vista, boot up with XP and download SeaTools from Seagate. Download the DOS version, burn it to a CD and boot with that CD. Run the short and long tests on your hard drive. If that fails, get a new drive...

If I re-install Vista, will I lose all my stuff that's on the hard drive?

Looks like your Vista install is fucked.

Reinstall time. It'd be best to format too, to reduce the likelihood of this happening again. Boot in XP, get everything you want off the drive and then reinstall Vista.

Ok, at the moment I have hooked up the hard drive so I can access its contents when I'm in XP, and I'm in the directory it mentions, which looks like this:

Anyway to fix it from here?

Nope. Get shit off it, reformat the whole thing and reinstall. HDD could be on the way out, but not necessarily.
