Technology developed by an Irish firm that allegedly defies basic laws of physics to produce free power today goes on public display for the first time.

Anyone know anything about it?

Hmm. I hope that of all the countrys in the world to develop "free" energy, Ireland bags it. Wouldnt mind the extra income to the country tbh

"...and a week after the project's initial demonstration, Mr. U.S Oilman, owner of the largest oil company in the world, paid the inventor(s) 2 billion dollars for the device. "We need to defend our buissness" sais teh P.R director of US Oil co."
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

On 4th July 2007 Steorn opened a ten-day demonstration of it's free energy technology, Orbo. Based on magnetic field interaction, Orbo allows the production of clean, free and constant energy. The technology can be applied to virtually all devices that require energy, from electronic gadgets to cars.

On 18th August 2006, we placed an ad in the Economist which issued a challenge to the scientific community to come and validate our technology. Twenty-two scientists were appointed and the testing began in January 2007. Steorn will publish the results of this process as soon as it is completed.

Opening times
The exhibition at the Kinetica Museum, in Spitalfields Market, East London is open to the public from Thursday 5th until we close on Friday 13th July.

I live in London!

I'll go and have a look tomorrow. It's blatantly lies....

Either that or the laws of physics engineers use to design everything we use are fundamentally flawed - which would worry me, a lot.

How convenient that they are experiencing technical difficulties. Until Friday the 13th I suppose?

The Irish have been able to produce free energy in violation of the basic laws of physics for years. Big Séamus from Tír Chonaill discovered that back in 1949. It's pretty neat. It involves a sod of turf, a length of twine, some thumb-tacks, a cyclotron and a small nuclear fusion reactor.

Thier invention is going to hell as soon as the afterparties start. Nothing is safe from a drunken Irishman, not even the blueprints hidden in the everything-proof safe.

It would probably be the greatest invention in history, to date, if it worked. There'd be no amount of money that would get me to sell it to an investor (if I was the creator)... just think of the possibilities.

They say they can make it any size. So, we'll see.
