The pic above is what the back of my monitor looks like. The company doesn't exist(their website don't work anyway), therefoere I couldn't get any help from them. I was just wondering will I be able to add DVI to the port next to the VGA?

Probably not, because you would have to hook up some wires inside the monitor.

Not unless you want to make all the associated circuitry yourself. Just because the backpanel has that bit of plastic means nothing.

If you own an soldering iron, then maybe(probably not though), otherwise no.

The have all the extra spots for different models of monitors. The same shell is used for a number of their monitor models, to save money.

i highly doubt it. most likely the manufacturer just used the same outer casings for panels with separate interfaces. Try using a DVI to VGA adapter?
