Anyone heard of these cars (featured in Le Mans, also)? They have to be the coolest, loudest, deepest noisy cars there is. In this video, it is the bright orange car, the third car on the movie, in which he follows it all the way round:

I have to go to Le Mans next year just to hear these! My brother went, and apparently you can hear them a few miles down the track they are that loud!

I love 'em.

I also recommend if you want to hear them amongst other cars such as a DBR9, Ferrari F430 etc:

Those cars are fun to watch/drive. And they do sound beastly. That supercharged 4.6L Ford V8 makes great music down the straight pipes.

Sadly, they were only in the GT2 section - which is normal because they are not 'fast', but damn they sound good

The one in GT3 was a different version to the one in the video (at least the first one, didn't watch the second one) the one in GT was the GTR-1

So many G's and T's in todays world, in video cards, cars, you name it.

As far as I know, the max Panoz speed (down the straights) was recorded at 169mph I think. The DBR9 is....faster :p

they use to do a lot of old style kit car then they became huge in the lemans series

hell, loud is not the word, on test days with all them out there you can here at the local grorcey store with is about 5 miles from the entrance of the track.

edit: i want to do a race school with them but you have to pass a drug test..
