last summer I worked in the Bering Sea on a factory trawler (big fishing boat). 15 hour days + 7 days a week + 2 straight months + working in cargo (-30 degree temps while endlessly lifting 50-75lb boxes and throwing them above your head) = yeah tired

I work at a Restaurant, so depending on how busy it is, it can either be boring as fuck, or extremly stressful...

I have noticed though that when it is really busy and stressful, the time just flys by and I'm in and out of there in what feels like 10 mins

Sleep is a Crutch.

I deal with drunk people 90% of the time.  I plan to get hammered tomorrow while out on the lake on a boat with the guys I work with whom also deal with stupid drunk people 90% of the time.

What do you exactly do on the pistol assembly line?
Build 1911 A1 pistols from scratch.  Fit frames to slides, add sights, fit the safeties, gauge the hammer, set sear springs, set triggers, freakin everything.  Which sounds like alot, but once you do it a few thousand times, its fucking cake work.

You a waiter aswell?
Hate standing around doing nothing! Then again I hate it when customers come in 2 minutes before kick-off expecting to be served a 3 course meal.

Yes and no.

I'm an architect, I have a home office so my commute is very short.....I get up and go downstairs...lol. But it can be very long hours and it holds a lot of responsibility. Worst thing about my work is that everybody wants their plans yesterday.

Stressful in many ways but being at home makes up for it.

My job is ish-hard but gets easier over time i guess, but not good when im very tired or hung-over, i have to first measure the lenses (glasses) from the nasal to the end, then only the width of the lense, then to work out the height, i have to check the width then measure the height and half the difference between them. Thats only a fraction of what i have to do, so theres no pressure when i get someones prescription wrong and i have to start all over again

that's quite insane. the most i've done is only around 70 or 80 in a week, although my brother did do 105 in 7 days for a few weeks!
Only way to get ahead is to go above and beyond....

Springfield Armory kicks ass. I bought an XD45 (the tiny one) and it's my favorite gun (although the newest usually is). The double action takes some getting used to, but that little sucker packs a whallop and it hides nicely.

My job is pretty stressful, but not the way one might think. I own my company and I've got to always think about all the children of the employees and their mortgages and their lives every time I make a decision. That sucks. Every time I take on a new project or take a risk in any way I always end up wondering "okay, what if we have to cut back and let someone go, how will they feed their family".

That part sucks.

We do medical equipment and supplies to physicians and to patients, and a bunch of respiratory therapy. Back when I was the actual functioning neonatal therapist, there's some stress. Having to answer the "is my baby going to make it, I can't get a straight answer out of the doctor" question doesn't get any easier even after the 50th time you hear it.

Hey, Alabama Jones and the Busty Crusade. Somebody here worked on that. Cool. I have seen that a few times. A Skinamax movie. I thought that The Witches of Breastwick was better though.

That red headed chick doesn't do a lot for me (the one who was the wife), but the hottub scene where she was with the bigger of the three witches was pretty hot. Man those three witch chicks were sweet. The dark headed evil chick who showed up in the bedroom wasn't bad either. That was one of the better Skinamax flicks, and the Mrs. didn't seem to mind it either. The Busty Crusade though, as crazy as this sounds, had so little plot she wouldn't tolerate it. There was at least SOME acting in Breastwick. I give it one dong up. Way up...

Call Girl Wives too? Damn man you've worked on some of my favorites...

Any job can be stressful or hard, a lot of it depends on your personality.

I am too much of a perfectionist, so half the time I stress myself out worrying out things I don't need to. Which drives me nuts when I see people doing my job who don't worry, and sail through without a care in the world.

But having said that, I am pretty decent at what I do because of that attitude.

With no disrespect to people who work on factory lines (hey, my grandparents did that their whole life!), like assembling guns, that would drive me nuts. My job gives me variety, so I don't know how I would cope with the same task repeated a billion times. Clearly if you can do that you are doing a hard job!!

I repair ice cream machines for a living so needless to say during the summer it can be very busy and stressful.  However, on the flip side, I do get all the free ice cream, slushes, and shakes I can stomach.

Fuck it. I'm never flying again. I used to fly three times a week for work, but these days, I'm out. That shit was all I needed to see. I don't care about the math or the statistics or anything else, I can crash my car and survive. You get in a "wreck" in a plane and you can kiss your ass goodbye. I'm scheduled to fly 2 hours for work next week. I'll make the 8.5 hour drive instead.

Front desk bowling alley...

summer...   400+ people a day... kids outta school with...

Mostly Moms... in tanktops... nipples.

Answer incoming phone calls... run lotto.. some stupid kids ball didnt make it all the way down the lane.... dead ball lane 6.

nobody ever gets their shoe size right.... then they need bumpers... and that ramp thingy.

The lane attendant is like 16... he hangs around the front desk... he wants to talk about games... Im a Gaming Guru to him.

After 7 years everyone knows me... as "The grumpy Guy"... yet the Moms always wink and smile.

After work there's always at least 3 people who want to buy me a drink... I decline.. I tell them I want to go home and play BF2...

Shooting the summer noobs and dorks... that's my way to relieve stress...

I dispatch for the State Police, Fire & Emergency Medical services along with other resources.

Yes at times it can be VERY stressfull.

I work Midnights so it's not as crazy at other times of the day but we also have less resources on the Midnight shift.

I fix cars.  suspension to automatics, everything except body/paint.  I used to get stressed, deadlines and asshole customers, one day I told my boss that I dont paid enough to be stessed, I figured the worst he could do was fire me.  I used to work the long hours for basically nothing extra  now I show up at ~7:59am, go to lunch between 12:00 and 1:00, and leave at 5:00.   The shop manager knows I leave at 5 and that's it.  I dont give a shit if the customer's waiting in the lobby, they can finish it themself.  There are a few nice ladies that come in, a couple MILFS but mostly just old people that all think they can do a better job.
