weather totally sucks here, 18 degrees with nothing else then rain, rain and rain. always rain
Hmmm...87 degrees?
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

yeah i was in vegas last weekend, 115 i think it was, good to be back in the high 80s to low 90s
It was 102F on my way home yesterday, and according to that chart, the temp is 98. I wouldn't be one bit surprised to see it hit 101-103F again today before all is said and done.
Dunno what i'd rather have as an englishman right now, your warmth or our crappy rain/ wind/ freeze-ya-nuts-off cold, tbh we were fine till about a few weeks ago....
Its only 112 today, which is hot, but isn't too bad.
Getting into your vehicle is when you feel the heat!
Just took this pic:

One day last summer it was around 160!

I can't complain here because it hasn't hit triple-digits yet, nor is it insanely humid. But I must say it is very hot. And it doesn't help that my room is the hottest room in the house. Even with the air conditioner on I don't get good air flow in here. And to make things worse my computer is putting out a lot of heat as well. Heh, I remember last summer my computer was having issues because it was summer and I had to keep a large fan on the outside blowing on the computer with the side of the tower off just to make sure the dumb thing didn't overheat and crash!
Well at least you got nice sorta weather it has been raining 24/7 in the U.K don't even feel like the summer.
Been around the 80's here. Pretty nice.
Dude Im fuckin freezing. Its like 14 degrees celcius outside.
noice

I for one am glad that South Texas doesn't have those triple digit temperatures this summer. I am enjoying the month long here and there rain and less than 90 degree F weather, despite the fact that north Texas is already sick of rain...

Nah, I won't be tight. But it does get damned hot over the summer, and there's one major bushfire in the Southeast every year. So anyone looking to move here should expect similar conditions to what you guys are facing.

Last two days were 7 and 9 respectively.

Check out Dallas, 82 degrees! I'm not sure if it's worth it, though, as it seems the heat has been replaced by CONSTANT rain.
tbh i'd agree, it'd be cool to fight HUGE ass fires for a living. however, my girlfriend would also not approveDonald O' Brien wrote:
I take it you are a firefighter of some sort? My friend works for the Forestry Service and earlier this summer he got sent to Georgia(?) for 2 weeks to fight some big fires. It seems like it'd be a pretty satisfying job, though my girlfriend probably wouldn't be happy if I did it.

Gonna be near 100 in Chicago by monday. Add in 70% humidity, and an outdoor job... gonna suck
