It kicks me after about 5 minutes because it cannot find my "pbag" or something like that, how do I fix this?

Just go to the Punk Buster website and click on the BF2 link, then the download link, then the PBsetup link. Select the version for you operating system (probably Windows). Run the setup program and click on the "Check for Updates" button. Punk Buster is supposed to update automatically, but it doesn't always.
EDIT: I haven't had any problems, but I just checked for updates anyway and it updated both BF2 and 2142.

I updated it after the problem began and it still happens, which is a shame because I think I FINALLY got it to stop lagging.

- Downloaded Punkbuster;
- Ran the latest updates;
- Un and then re-installed Battlefield 2.

I'd rather not have to reinstall BF2. I think it's fixed, I googled "error finding pbag" and typing pb_security 0 into the console makes it so you don't get kicked for it. PunkBuster, being as retarded of a program as it can be, still looks for the file and gives an error in the console, which seems to be making the game lag. Of course it may have been a bad server, i'm not sure yet.leetkyle wrote:
