Which levels have subs? I can't seem to find them.
Midway and Guadalcanal have them in MP games.
You have to play multiplayer to use them
Thanks.
I never could find the subs in Midway, I found them in Guadalcanal once though.
The only thing I can find on Midway (besides the obvious - ships, island) were the sea flags. I'd get out of my landing boat and sit on them, taking pot shots at enemy airplanes for no real reason at all.Commie Killer wrote:

The Midway subs are the single spawn point. The other ships have pairs of spawns, but the sub only one.
Their a pain to drive, they only carry like 3 minutes of oxygen : / but besides that, there a great asset
Wake island have subs
I don't ever recall seeing subs on wake?Private_Adam wrote:

Wake Island was a carrier/destroyer map. Porting it into BF2 seems a shame, particularly when each map features a carrier whose engines have obviously been blown.

Ships on 1942... Brings back good memories. And bad. Like the idiots that beached the ships and completely fucked up the arty support from them. But still fun nonetheless.
And Wake didn't have subs I think. I know Midway and Guadcanal did though.

Fond memories here of being on teams that actually used spotting abilities. Shelling Wake from the very corner of the map in a battleship was great. Nobody ever thought to look there.Smithereener wrote:

I remember I found myself in the middle of a clan vs clan (in public) battleship to battleship fight... You wouldn't believe how many engineers we had there. The battle lasted a good 3 minutes. Way too much fun. (We won by the way )Smithereener wrote:
