I am looking for a good antivirus for my computer.
Get Avast! It's free, and awesome. AVG is pretty good as well, but I don't like the interface as much.
Avast.
Free and amazing. You don't really need much else. I've personally never had any issues with it. (or viruses for that matter!)
edit: Zomg ghetto stealing my thoughts!

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

NOD32
Avast
But to be honest, you should know what you are downloading. I only have Ad-Aware on my system because I know what I am downloading. I'll even run the scan right now and the worst I will get is a cookie!

NOD32 you have to pay for. Well, I know you don't strictly *have* to, but it's technically a program you pay for. If we're including those though, get Kaspersky.
Why wouldn't we be including them?ghettoperson wrote:

because we are all cheap
Most people prefer to not have to pay for things.buLLet_t00th wrote:

I have always been able to use use Symantec AV (NOT Norton, there is a difference) for free. If I had to go it on my own I would try AVG.
