Yeah, but just think about how long would actually take to kill 99.99999999% of the worlds population without one!
the chips should be able to be turned on and off by the person that is wearing it so that if something happens to that person and they need help and no one knows where they are, they can turn it on and people will be able to find them. i would only wear one if it gave me the option to turn it on/off whenever i needed it
Its called a cell phone
Emo's are Suicidal not Homocidal. If he wants to harm himself then fine, But if he wants to harm other then he needs to be stopped(Unless they deserve it)Miller wrote:

Alright, I wouldn't consider all those who are emo suicidal. I can tell you for a fact I should be considered emo. When I used to cut, there wasn't a hint of being suicidal, it was just a release of anger and depression upon myself. Suicidal is exactly that. Unless the emo kills him or herself or at least tries then no, they are not suicidal. I hate it when people become confused about that. Anyone can be suicidal, emos aren't always so.David.Podedworny wrote:

No. No way, no fucking way should a parent be allowed to put a chip inside their child!

Well, in this country your parents can be held responsible for your actions until you are a legal adult, which is 18 years of age. That means your parents can pretty damn well do whatever they damn well please as long as they are your guardians and responsible for your actions.
You little tweens that still aren't legal, I'm sure, are the ones putting up the big fuss. Fuck you. Until you can be the only person solely responsible for your actions, you are subject to whatever laws your government and/or parents set down. So get used to it!!!

No, that opens a Pandora ’s Box of shit. Just raise your kid right, and trust them. Every kid is going to do things that there parents don’t condone. Were would it stop? Microchiping kids!!, What’s next, bar codes tattooed on the back of everyone’s neck? Talk about big brother.
I don't understand why everyone gets all worked up about this "Big Brother" shit.
First off people do a whole lot of complaining without doing very much. From some of the intensity I see people talk about it, it's pretty disheartening to know all you people do is make angry posts in an internet forum or tell people how much you hate the President. (not just Bush, there are always people complaining about the President) Go make some damn money and make a difference then.
And then of course people get all worked up about putting microchips in people when they're being lied to them from ALL politicians. I'd be paying more attention to what your nation's goals are, not what your politicians want them to be perceived as, but what your country it actually working to do. Does it coincide with what you think it should be doing? No? Change it. Don't fucking sit there and spray paint some shit about Bush on the side of a wall.
Why does it matter if they chip you anyways? NO ONE GIVES A FUCK WHERE YOU ARE. No one in a government office is going to be looking at what John Smith is doing at 12:30 at night, as long as it isn't making a bomb. If you're lucky enough to have parents who do give a fuck about where you are cherish it for as long as it lasts.

I think parents should be allowed. I don't think parents should use them to spy on their kids but for an emergency they could log on to the internet and pay a charge to see where the child is at. If a child was kidnapped then they could notify athorities and they could be on the kidnappers in a matter of minutes most likely. There should be a clause that the child has to be able to have the chip removed free of charge on their 18th birthday or whatever legal age is in said country of citizenship. Just some Ideas! Keep crying kids.N.A.T.O wrote:

Well... What's to say parents wouldn’t use it to spy on there kids? Also what’s to say the kidnapper wouldn’t remove it? You no how they scan lost dog’s to see if they have a microchip, well that same scanner could be used to find the microchip on a human, and once you find were it is all you need is a pen knife.JG1567JG wrote:

Does anyone here really think that it'd take more than a few days of this being put into actions before the kidnappers/paparazzi/paedophiles/other kids/boyfriends/girlfriends/crazy parents/bored people with nothing better to do, work out how to tap the signal and track any kid they feel like. Give it 2 minutes and I'm sure you'll think up a whole load of ways you could abuse this system.
Plus, as said before, everyone will know where it is so anyone who does kidnap your kid will simply remove it thusly defeating the point in it in the first place, that is if the kid hasn't had sense to remove it themself as I would do if someone stuck a chip in me.

If my parents put one of them things in me (which they wouldn't) I'd change it so it says I'm in Korea or something...
imagine how cool it would be had Osama Bin Laden had been chipped. perhaps we should do this with the Gitmo prisoners and then release them. by tracking them in their homeland, we'd know exactly where more terrorists are and then be able to take them out. At the same time, the bleeding hearts will see the prisoners released. it's a win-win situation (except for the terrorists).
I already have several powerful rare-earth magnets sitting around. Stick them together, put them on the chip, voila - nonfunctional waste of money.

No, no no no NO, nobody is putting chips in me, it would itch too bad and I would scrape my whole skin open.
I think it should be allowed. so much kids kidnapped this year, With a chip inside them, they would have had more chance to be found. If someone put a chip in me i wouldn't mind, doesn't do shit just sits there telling people where i am. If i got kidnapped; the chip would most probably save my life.
Thats like saying "Lets ask children if they want to drink, if they do let them." Parent's shouldn't have to get confirmation from the kid. They're just protecting their kids, which is something most parents do.

As everyone keep pointing out, any kidnapper will simply remove the chip. You're basically inflicting the addition of a painful, unsteralised knife wound to the list of horrors the kid will go through. Oh, you're also attaching a huge locator beacon to your kid for anyone who wants to kidnap them.Bruce-SuperNub wrote:
