i would bet u will have to, since they're doing the new unlocks on a tier system so i'm betting you'd have to get the DAO-12 first. I did see a video of the P90 in action and it doesn't seem too bad, but I think ur gonna be finding yourself flat on your back or face first in the dirt more often than the other guy....
my guess is that yes, you will have to have them unlocked. this is coming from a few sites reporting these weapons as being tier 2 unlocks.

Yes, you do. They are considered tier 2 unlocks and you need the tier 1 weapons for the tier 2 to build on.

well i only unlocked 1 gun when i got my promo to gunnery sgt so if you do need the dao-12 i might unlock that or maybe the mg36 or the m95.
