I can only think what that would've meant.

Think of a guy backing up from his driveway at home. It´s horrible, because most of the bikers are retarded and just plain ignore the back end of a car coming out in front of them.Nintendogamer wrote:
thats the reason why they introduced it, kids from local high school are riding round people hitting people etc.KrisPOLANDnorwida wrote:
why?? If they ride like crazy yeahh.. but if they ride normally(not drunk) whats so bad about it??Sambuccashake wrote:
I hate people who ride bikes on sidewalks.
but the cops made up some bullshit about forcing wheelchairs in the road. i have never seen that happen.
You can´t imagine the horror you experience the first time you hit one of those morons. And for the better, it´s your fault.
I can understand some of them, because riding a bike is kind of a pickle. Your too slow for the road (jeez, I hate them with all of my heart), but too fast for the sidewalk.
Still, I can´t stand them anywhere.
You better take the bus.

where i live, if you ride your bike on the pavement you can be fined £30 by a PCSO (police community support officer, they have like no police powers except for on the spot fines)
this is annoying for me as i use my bike to get around, and if i go on the road i'll proberly get hit by a few cars (cause chavs in their ford fiestas like to speed around)
Thats hardly fair is it???
any tips on how to worm myself out of a fine? (cos i am bound to be caught)

Most places have laws that you must ride in the street. It is that way in most of the USA also.
They are not always enforced, but most places have that law.
You also have to obey the same laws/rules that automobiles must follow.
This includes lights (front and rear) when riding in the dark.
A friend of mine was issued a citation for riding on the wrong side of the road (against traffic) in a residential neighborhood; next to the park.
He was on probation and they were just f*ckin' with him because they could.
He disputed the charge in court and lost lol
I say follow the law and be pay attention to everything around you!
EDIT:
Oh yes - if you can legally you should carry a pistol too

by the way, pissing off a PCSO isn't smart, then can easily call for police backup. then you would really be in trouble. as for your problem, I would suggest riding as close to the side as possible, swerving around parked cars. anyone chasing after you trying to hit you, well, not much you can do about that.
