Naw shes actually going to die in about a week. Shes in very bad shape... I've been an atheist for way longer then shes had cancer though.

Ok. I guess im already with that, i can't deny a peace treaty with my enemy. But i will still continue to argue with creationists when the time comes. Its my job as an atheist. A creationist isn't capable of understanding the thoughts of an atheist when he sees a believer. Unless you are an atheist, you dont understand. Atheists are a unique breed, and we are very proud to be part of it.

Well thats just our nature isn't it, to express and hold on to our thoughts and the way we feel about things.

its funny, cuz if you had really studied the universe, you would notice that there is no way that it could all just accidentally happen.... and im sorry for ur aunt, but its just her time... and for christians, death is not the end, its just something we all have to look forward to... but feel free go on and continue to believe that we all came from monkeys...

And how so, could it not have accidentally happened? We would never have known what actually caused the creation of the universe, since our brains can't comprehend the fact that there should be something beyond the universe and therefore the universe must be the ultimate place. Therefore people just say that some creation created everything, well then there is one thing I nevaaa evaaa! have understood. You claim that there is no way that it all has happened accidently, and as your background might suggest that it must have been created, then whoever has created this had to be created as well, how did that happen? 

i guess u never read the Bible huh? to you this will sound crazy, but God was always there.... nobody created him... but like i said before, feel free to continue thinking u came from monkeys...

Ha, you say it like its a bad thing, coming from monkeys. We did not come from monkeys neccesarily, but there was a monkey like creature billions of years ago that branched of, one division being humans, one division being apes we have today, and more. We were just luck of natural selection.

Atheists who murder and rape don't justify it with their beliefs. The original statement meant to display the violence that has occurred under the banner of religion, not the morality of theists and atheists.

And we didn't come from "monkeys". What's the point of arguing with a creationist anyway. More sense talking to a wall, at least the wall doesn't talk back .

anyway, in response to the actual thread. who cares if someone challenges you? if you are secure then you shouldn't worry. i either leave it be or tell people what i think if they tell me something different. what i dont do is complain they are discussing nonsense with me (nonsense from both sides not just christianity), you have two other options.
