Im thinkin about making one. Ever wrote one?
I used to be a sportswriter/scout for a living and I wrote previews and reviews of football games that were intertwined with "lesson" type stories and I did a ton of them over about 6 years. After a while I decided to edit all the stories, remove most of the team specific language, and the actual football stuff, and just self-publish a book of all the stories I'd written. I sold about 1,000 copies. Not great, but it's in the Library of Congress and that's cool...
I'm working on a mystery/science fiction book right now. It'll never get finished or published, but what the hell, I like the story.
My first book is at http://www.iuniverse.com/bookstore/book … 95-29077-9 , and yes, that's me on the cover.

Its funny, i always think i have enough knowledge to write a book, but i get like 2 pages and completely state my point and story and run out of things to say.
It's a good idea if you can make enough text to fill up 50 pages.

by the time i got done training as a missile technician I had written a handguide to the whole course. 6 month course literally filled two fracking note books with notes, diagrams and whatnot. It was crazy to see that much stuff from one course, much less all neat and linear. And then i graduated and it went bye bye
I hope my book doesnt fails. Amen
Good luck!
i started writing one, got to about 35,000 words and then had loads of schoolwork to do so had to give it up
I've got the best idea for a book ever. It will later be adapted into a film.
I can't tell you what it is though, it's that good you'll steal it.
See you in 5 years, you'll all be watching my film in awe.

I read a book once, it was boring.
What's a book?
What are you writing about?
A story about a girl and drugs.
Basel Switzerland is the coolest town I've ever visited. Anyone who hasn't gone is missing out. I highly recommend it.
well, depends, i wrote a Sci-Fi book once, but maybe that's not what you're talking about
PS- it needs to be "ever WRITTEN a book"

I wrote a 'book' when I first got my computer so I could learn to type a bit faster. Its far more interesting to learn how to type like that instead of numerous keystrokes of "eeee fffff ggggg" in those typing tutors. I would post it here because it was pretty much just all random shit about how some guy called fred got aids, and had sex with a crab, which mutated into huge crab and started destroying the world. But I reformatted.
