What the hell does roflcopter mean?

I'm hip enough to get rofl (rolling on the floor laughing), but the roflcopter thing escapes me.

My guess; I picture a guy rolling on the floor laughing so hard that he's spinning around like a helicopter blade. Is that it?

I like to think of "rofl" as being a weakening prefix. For example, a guard dog with no teeth: rofldog.
