Whats the point in one Raptor, two larger cheaper HD's in RAID 0 would be even faster than tht setup.

Anyways, the Nforce motherboards run great on standard sooo youve nothing to worry about there, but, there really made for overclocking, sooo if you dont plan to OC your probably wasting your money.  If you plan to SLI eventually though, you would be as well stickin to it as those are the boards to do that on.  There are LT models out (N680i LT) that drop off a few features and cost, but not much (like £20).

Basically, if you want to run SLI, stick to that board, if not, either drop to a N650i, or go for an intel chipset (one of the P35s), but if you go for the P35, there crossfire, not SLI.  So you would need to either stick to one 8800GTX and that one only (replacing it whenever) or buy an ATI card, then another later if you choose to.  P35s, also support next gen CPU (yorkfield/penryn) out later this year, so thats a bonous, not needing to replace the mobo as soon as those nforce, and can support DDR3 RAM.

Basically more futre proof, but, you loose the SLI ability for crossfire ^^^.  Theres also two other ones for about £100, that give and take on what you get, that one I pasted is the full featured one, but again, its an overclocking chipset like almost all of the premium ones.
