hello all, I have a 500W power supply that came with my case (APEVIA Aspire X-Navigator) and it is running fine with one 10k HDD, 2 DVD burners, a 7800gtx, and an amd fx-57. But the thing is, I am thinking about getting another 10k raptor for Raid 0, a 250 GB HDD for storage, and 2 more DVD burners. My question is, will my power supply be strong enough to power all this? and if i need a new power supply, can someone reccomend one? thanks guyz
Jesus probably not.

What do you need 4 DVD burners for?
Piracy deee wee dee?
The powersupplies that come in cheap cases like Apevia are complete trash. I recommend you light it on fire.
You might want something like the Thermaltake Toughpower 750W if you are going to continue to add more stuff later on down the road. If you won't be adding anything else for a while then the Hyper Type-R 580W would be fine.

I'm afraid he is right! Generally speaking, they are not very good.CrazeD wrote:

I have extra CD-RW/DVD-ROM "Combo" drives in mine. For applications / games that need a disk and assuming you have a legal copy, extra drives can be very handy and don't use much extra wattage.Scorpion0x17 wrote:
