Like I've said before and like someone else said about one of my earlier posts, the main issue I have with the immigration going on is the Hispanics lack of assimilation. I know that America is a very culturally diverse place, and it's awesome that it's like that. But the Hispanics are taking it too far. I am very supportive of people who want to keep their traditions and holidays, but when it comes to not learning a common language, or demanding things from the government because you're too lazy or stupid to do yourself, that's when it becomes a problem.
Asians and Europeans (nowadays) have no problems obtaining citizenship legally and learning to read and speak English. In fact, I'm very happy when I find out that someone has immigrated from another country but can speak English just fine and write it perfectly (one of my friend's dad immigrated from Norway and he speaks English just fine and writes it fine as well, and that's because they teach it in schools there).
When it comes to the Latinos, their home countries are so fucked up they don't even teach proper English in schools, and they encourage everyone to just come here and attempt to run away from their problems.
The United States really needs to block all immigration on the southern borders and deport all illegal immigrants immediately. Mexico et. al. 's problems are becoming our problems. If we don't start kicking people out and making them deal with their own mess, the problems will only get worse for us.
Imagine having a neighbor with a bunch of rowdy, poorly-raised, misbehaved children and the parents are too stupid and uncaring to do anything about those children. Then the children get fed up and come over to your house and you start raising them. Since the neighbors are rid of a few children, they're going to have more because they're poor and want welfare as well as more household members to take care of the place. Then those kids get fed up with it and come to your place. Eventually you're going to have to drag those children back to their own house and have a discussion with your neighbor.
The U.S. has yet to do that.

IMO, it all comes down to the economics of the matter. Cut off the illegal employment, it all dries up, as smarter people here have stated already.
I completely agree. I'd like to cite the example of In-N-Out burger. No illegals work there at all, yet the company is so successful because of the great service and hard workers that it can afford to pay its employees a minimum of $9.50 an hour and is actually a competitive job considering it's just fast food. As with other fast food places, they all suck because the food tastes shitty and you get shitty service from the illegals who work for shit pay and don't have any drive to excel at their workplaces and instead opt for a second job.
