I must say, although it looks like an expensive (and possibly useless) toy, it's really cheap and tacky looking. Am I the only one who thinks so??

Pedals control the rudder, not the throttle... And they also have air brakes, yet bf2 doesn't seem to have those.SargeV1.4 wrote:
why would you have pedals for a set that already has an awesome throttle on it?
Give me your money.
Those look great, but I'll always use my mouse for the little flying I do. I'm aerophobic.

With all that shit, you had better go out and get some kinda flight sim, because BF2 just wont get you your full use out of all that.
I use my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro to fly around in the jets, but i could never get used to flying a chopper with it. M&K + Choppers = FTW.

I got a joystick too, in my pants
Sure are a lot of haters on this board.
I tried a joystick once for flying and found that I used the mouse (Razer) and keyboard better so I returned the joystick.
Its different for everyone, I say more power to ya'

While I'll admit to being a bit jealous, because toys are toys and I'm a man... You might be taking this game a bit too seriously; what's next, a chair with an ejection handle on it?

The stick is one of only two that I know that you can LOCK the twist rudder and use the pedals instead. And like most of you, I've had many different joysticks, and none compared to this set. I know it's all preference, but if you can afford it and love flying games, these puppies are worth it.mr. LuxusLexus wrote:
The pedals does not have anything to do with the throttle. They control sideways motion. Which means i don have to twist the stick left or right when i want to circle strafe.SargeV1.4 wrote:

All of this for an FPS game... LMAO! But looking at your stats, I would stick to a chopper too LOL!
LOL ignore all the jealousy, if i had the money to waste then I'd prob buy a set myself. enjoy m8!
I've had a joystick etc to...but i'm always better with a mouse :s
Hope it makes you better

Looks like overkill to me. Saying that, I wouldn't recommend the Saitek Cyborg Evo because I've got one and its tracking is rubbish, plus it's really stiff to move.
Ah I've seen the joystick at Futureshop and at himself it cost aprox 250$canwah1188 wrote:
Christ bit much ain't it costs like 200 quid or something!!!
Bit over the top for the dumbed down plane and chopper stuff of bf2 really though.
I got mine on sale for $80 CAN.FlamingPhenix wrote:

And I personally Hate it, but I don't have enough desk room to use it properly, so thats most likely why.
