It should just be in your manual. Or look for an X-Fi Fatal1ty PDF manual if you don't have one. Generally speaking, Creative won't publish a manual without going through what everything is

A friend has the Fatality with drive bay and every now and then he has to restart his PC cos of some distorts. Its a known issue that x-fi bay causes problems. I have fatality without the bay and it works well.

Wow thanks alot, hearing the PC restars, I dont want it, I'll just go with the normal "card-only" package. By the Way, is there relaly a performance gain with X-RAM?

So the X-RAM dosen't help? :p The Fatal1ty Pro sure looks much better than the Normal X-FI Extreme Gamer.

This:

Sure looks much better than:

BTW Why does everything have that Jonathan "Falal1ty" Guy's name on?? It makes no sense to me There are motherboards, GPUS, Sound Cards and Headsets and Mics with his name on...for what??? Is that guy trying to get popular by advertising himself on random products?

Propaganda for "world's most known gamer" - he makes a lot of money out of fatal1ty hardware.

X-RAM gives about a 2FPS increase in games, apparently! Also, it means your RAM has less stress for sound-related applications, because of the 64MB of dedicated sound X-RAM.

JaMrulezass buy Fatality pro an not the xfi gamer. The difference is also in connectivity. Its worth the money trust me . I hope u have some good speakers to use with that card.

Lol Yup the X 540 5.1 nice set of 5.1 budget speakers though they actually do sound awesome, just have a low wattage but thats fine since my room is puny anyway.

But Supremacy, you tell me that the Fatal1ty Pro is better than the normal X-Fi Gamer but kyle says that it does absolutely nothing. I really dont know which way to go, but does it help to tell you that I'm getting 4 Gigs of ram??

X-fi pro is digital and made from better material (gold plated connections).

it means you can connect digital components such as logitech z5500 or a digital amplifier to the x-fi pro card. digital is better than analog.. Understand?

If you're gonna get one at all, get the XtremeGamer Fatal1ty for the X-RAM.  Despite what those pictures show, ALL X-Fi models come with heatsinks on the X-Fi chip, though it has not always been this way.  They all have some sort of onboard RAM as well; the XtremeMusic and (I think) every model lower than it has a 2MB Samsung RAM chip located directly above the X-Fi processor, but this cannot really be considered X-RAM as it acts as more of an L2 cache.

Here is everything about what is actually on the card: http://www.guru3d.com/article/content/265/3/

Yup. Thanks james, seems like the ports are all useless to me.
