FX series is pretty abysmal. My first ever aftermarket card (amusing, in a DELL PC!) was a 128MB PNY FX5500. Man, it sucked.
Anyone got comparisons between the ATI Equivalent (Generation-wise) of the FX Series? Is it the Radeon 9 series? or 8?

For example the HD X2xxx Series is equivalent to the 8xxx Series.
FX series wasn't THAT bad. I had an FX5500. However, it had competition that was several times better. Just like the HD with the 8 series. So he's right.
