Ok, so i have a '95 Saturn (yes i know it sucks... but it runs, so i'm good) and recently it has been not working as good

When it's in low RPM's (2500 and lower) there is a pretty big rumbling that goes on, i'm not sure what's wrong, but it only happens when it's under 2500 RPM, once i get past that it's fine.  Also, it takes longer to accelerate than normal

any idea what's wrong?

maybe when you get to a stop light and it idles it will rumble. My truck does that to and i dont know why either. Its just when its in drive and you idle for a long time.

That could be a sign of your fuel injectors getting gummed up or possibly your throttle position sensor going bad. Buy some Lucas fuel injector cleaner and run it in a tank and see if it helps any.

Could be many things. Start with injection cleaner. Makes sure none of the vacuum lines are loose or leaking. Sounds like a good bet too. Especially if it is just starting out of the blue.

I assume nothing bad will happen if i use the injection cleaner and it doesn't fix the problem right?

Try the injector cleaner...
You do your oil change when its due? Have you put fuel in a creepy place (cheap or dirty gas) ?

I might also be a "fire" problem... In that case you can check for : spark plugs, cap distributor, wiring. A good way to test wiring *correct me if im wrong* is to ignite the motor and then use a spay bottle with water. Put water on each wire that goes from the spark plug to the cap distributor, try to make them one a the time and if your motor make a little rumbling > you got your problem.

I had a problem of hard idling with my car, it was a sensor that was giving wrong infos and the motor had a poor gas/air mix.

Good luck man!

monitor your temp. if it goes up more than usual your transmission might be working harder  because of an issue........maybe

Is it a diesel? It will rumble if it is...Tends to smoothen out while cruising.
