ok so i just updated xfire

well i say i updated, the thing updated its self

and then i find myself confronted with this error

xfire_toucan_26719.dll did not load.


i tried a reinstall and that didnt help

tried uninstalling and reinstalling didnt help either.

i tried running the installer as an admin with xp emulation, also didnt work.

tried everything basically

want to know if anyone else is having this problem

I told you Vista wouldn't work all too good...
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
