I apologize if this breaks any forum rules.  I'm just trying to get the word out so we can get EA off their butts to either fix the problem or at least tell us the truth of what is going on.

Some people ARE bothered about stats. I'm bothered that I pay for a ranked server and with the stats outage its like burning my hard earned cash. If I didn't want a ranked server i could have hosted it myself and saved close to £800 a year.
What I'm bothered about is that EA treat us like crap, release bug ridden software with appalling after sales support then spend the life cycle of the product dicking us around some more.

ohbeone has offered a suggestion to the BF playing community that we can raise our collective voices in an attempt to show EA that we aren't happy with them and you flame him.

If you have nothing constructive to say, why bother saying anything?

Like I said, if you aren't interested in the topic of this thread, why bother clicking it???

Wow. People whinged about 1.3. It took 3 to 4 months to fix. Whinging ISN'T going to work with EA. Tried and failed, many times.

What bothers me enoguh to post is that theres more then enough threads, and nearly everyone bitches every damn second the EA is the worst company ever, and hate their customers yet the game works, you continue to play and enjoy it, yet all you ever do is bitch at EA as if they put bugs and issues in the game just to piss you off.

This isnt directed at you but the community at whole.  No matter what EA does it cant please you people, yet you continue to play and cry about every little issue. Doesnt matter what you do, EA isnt all of a sudden gonna fix ever issue in the game because you all band together, there a major company with many other games to support, but if you want to bitch about how horrible their games are give me one game that has been released by any game producer that worked perfectly and never had one issue EVER.

Well I dont own a stats server and am not paying through the nose for a service that is currently non existent, but I can say that if it wasnt for the stats system for me to track my skill progress online, I would have ditched this game a long time ago.  Personally, its all that I see keeping people playing Battlefield 2 at all.  So if you dont like what you read, simply click the red X on the top right corner of your browser window and get over the fact that there are people out there who actively care more than you do and want to do something about it. 

Want a game made for online play that worked perfectly?  Unreal Tournament 2004.  Unlike the programmer's brothel that is D!CE, Epic can actually code games properly and gives a shit about their craft and this shows.  I understand games have problems, but D!CE has consistently shown they dont even know their own code with some of the crap that's been coming back patch after patch.  Remember when they tried to fix the Red Name glitch with 1.3?  What did that give us?  Random server crashes.  Now its Highway Tampa and a few other supposed fixes, and the damn stats system shits itself.  The game has been out long enough for crap like this to have been ironed out.  Dont be surprised at consumer feedback.  If people in this community sat back and accepted it as it were, BF2 would have been even worse than it is now.  So please dont tell people what to do here regardless of what you think of the matter.

Personally?  EA has again spoonfed us bullshit and jumped the gun saying everything is rosey, when clearly it isnt.  If they keep dicking people around, guess what?  Their stats server subscriptions will drop off till nothing is left.  So thankfully, the consumer is there to keep those pricks honest.

I don't give a shit about the stats if they don't update with my lost medals.

Considering it takes us sooooo dang long to get our ranks when we pass 1st Lt.  I'd like the updates to be a little bit more up to date as we use these for tools in getting better at the game........GET EA's Heads out of there you know what and let's get some stats updated!
