I have a raptor 150 gig hard drive here.

Acer Aspire E700
Intel Core Duo 6300 @1.86 GHz

A Nvidia Geforce 7600 GS that came with the pc.
Windows Vista Home Premium

These are my specs just now, the hard drive is a basic 300 gig thing.

Is it easy to install? do they use much power?

I wouldn't bother going back to XP (if thats what you're thinking about doing?!?!), if anything install Vista on the Raptor and use the normal one as storage.

No it came with cables, i just thought i would make my siuation better by saying it came with 'no cables or anything'...

I have just worked 10 days of 12 hours a day, i am tired.
